Now, I know what you're thinking...Lies! Bullshit! Impossible! Or maybe you're all Ahnold about it and thinking that "it's not a tumahhh!" But it is, and she coughed it up - saving her life!
How fucking nuts is that???
ABC's Medical Unit blog posted the amazing story about British cancer survivor 37-year-old Claire Osborn and here's the skivvy >
Osborn was driving around one day when she felt a "tickling sensation at the back of her throat." The tickle turned into a long ass coughing fit where she hocked out a skin colored loogie. Gross!
The following day she had another coughing fit and up came another fleshy loogie. This one was about an inch long and heart-shaped. She had chucked the first one in the bin (British word for garbage, thank you Gordon Ramsey) but this time thought to herself something like, Oh shit! I'm coughing up pieces of my own flesh, my British ass really should go see a doctor!
When Osborn took her disgusting loogie to her doctor (pictured above) he did a biopsy on the tissue and it turned out to be metastatic adenocarcinoma, (which as far as I can tell means throat cancer) they gave her 50% odds of surviving and ordered chemo but then when they scanned her for remaining cancer cells, there were none there.
Osborn had coughed out all of her cancer! Cra-to-the-zy!!!
Glad to hear she's gonna be alright!
