Tsk, tsk...
Just weeks after that shameful pastor in North Carolina's
This video is particularly horrible because it's of a young toddler singing a song about how 'homos' aren't going to heaven.
Well fack! If heaven is full of these people - I'm not so sure that I want to go anymore either!
You can barely make out some of the words but here's the lyrics:
The Bible's right, somebody's wrong.
The Bible's right, somebody's wrong.
Romans One, 26 and 27.
Ain't no homos gonna make it to heaven.
How gross is it that all the "adults" are cheering the little guy on??? This kid's gonna have some trouble later on if he turns out to be gay...
But don't get me wrong, it's not at all the kid singing who's the problem. It's parents who breed hate - churches who promote non-tolerance - a holy book that plays a stellar scapegoat.
I grew up with a Filipino mother who is Catholic but not practicing and a redneck father who worships at the church of Molson every Sunday so admittedly, I wasn't exactly raised in the church. I did go to a Catholic school for a year and did the whole Sunday school bit when my parents got pangs of the God guilt though - and I gotta say...
Not once was any hateful speech spewed! It was all love and tolerance and flowery little bible stories...
What happened to that God!?!?!
