You know, I'm not one for chick music but this Adele can BLOW! Good lawd!
Girlfriend cleaned up at the Grammys last night winning 6 awards including the 2 biggies - Best Record of the Year and Best Song of the Year. Damn near gave me goosebumps she did when she crooned the beloved (though overplayed) Rolling in the Deep last night...Made the angels weep! Shit was beautiful! Oh and PS Kim K, Paris et al. - that is how a lady acts, ya fame hungry trashbags. Take note.
The night did have a somber tone due to the unexpected death of Whitney Houston the day prior. Host LL Cool J began the show with a prayer and mid show J-Hud took the stage to sing a rendition of Houston's megachickhit I Will Always Love You. RIP Whitney. Crack IS wack.
Regardless of the huge loss, the music still had to play on (and on and on and on...) at the Grammys though. Other big winners of the night were that idiot Skrillex for Best Dance Album/Best Dance Recording, Foo Fighters for Best Rock everything and Taylor Swift for Best Country Solo Performance and Song.
So, just to recap - it was 6 Grammys for Adele, you go Glen Coco! And none for
(Totally knew that stuntqueen shit wouldn't carry Gaga for long. Who the hell needs to be shocked all the time anyways, you know?)
