So this dumbass - Ashley McDowell - was approached by two (probably sketchy) dudes in a McDonald's parking lot who offered to sell her an iPad for $300.
Thinking to herself, Sure! I can use me one of them new-fangled picture tablets, she was saddened to realize that she only had about half the money...but it's cool! They gave it to her anyway! What are the odds of that? She took the alleged iPad (in a FedEx box) without looking at it and left.
So dumbass gets home to check out her sweet new deal but to her shagrin - she found out it was really just a block of wood with an Apple logo painted on the back!!! Sonofabitch! I have to admit, other than being a block of worthless wood, the replica was pretty DAMN good, yo! They really took the time to re-create the Apple look even though they really (really) didn't need to. Who says crooks are lazy?
Anywho, now realizing she was duped in the Mickey D's parking lot she calls the cops to tell THEM how stupid she is! Classic!
Deputies have dusted the phony iPad for fingerprints. And dumbass told cops that the nefarious thieves were driving "a white Impala with no rims and no tint," LOL - okay? And that one of the men "had a gold tooth." So, yeah...that really narrows it down.
Yeesh!
