Bring on some Dr. Drew!
The ladies of Teen Mom and Jenelle sat down with the celebrity Doctor to discuss all the crazy shit that went down on the past season of the show and revealed some interesting things.
First up was Leah - she was pretty boring which I imagine is why she was first. She talked a lot about not being sure about marrying sweet but dozy Corey and the medical problems with her daughter, Ali (she still doesn't know what exactly is wrong with the little girl). Snooze...next.
Now we have Chelsea, the ultimate daddy's girl. Her generous father Randy treats her like a princess and spoils her rotten. She has a totally unhealthy and fucked up relationship with her baby daddy Adam who may or may not be the biggest douchebag on the planet. He basically broke her down until she was so insecure that she couldn't even see that dating a guy who mooches off her, belittles her and her awesome father, barely helps with the kid and has cheated on her at least five times is not the best idea.
Well, the shocker (or maybe not) in her reunion segment was that she is back with Adam...here we go again...for fuck sakes! Her dad is pissed about it - of course anyone would be pissed if their daughter was being verbally abused on a daily basis - and she's still clueless and going lalalalala in her head. It even came to light during their segment that Adam asked her to buy him a truck! When Dr. Drew pointed out how douchey that was, Adam basically said her dad spoils her so why can't he get a little truck love??? Sad dude, really sad.
Kailyn stepped up to the plate next - she is still with Jordan who seems like a sweet kid. Interestingly, Kailyn is his first girlfriend - holy baggage Batman!
Jo and his mom - who I think is the BEST MOM EVER! - came out to chat and Janet was awesome as usual where Jo...was a little less awesome. Some cheating allegations flew between the two young parents where Kailyn accused Jo of banging some 25-year-old when she was knocked up with Isaac and he accused her of screwing Jordan before they were really broken up - ugh - whatevs. Keep your pants on idiots! An interesting tit for tat between these two was when Jo said he and Kailyn were still knockin' da boots for about three months during her basement time at his parent's mini-mansion (when they were supposed to be broken up.) It's interesting because it seems that maybe she was leading poor Jo on and that's why he got all belligerent and kept calling her a whore and shit when the season was coming to an end. Not that that's an excuse for being an asshole but it makes it a little more understandable.
Janet and Kailyn hugged it out at the end of her segment Ari-Gold-style and said they would get over all this garbage and start communicating. Go Janet!
Now we have Jenelle...oh Jenelle...
This little mommy is a trip! She acts like an irresponsible bitch most of the time but when her mom Barbara came out and spoke about their relationship and how she feels about Jenelle I just felt sorry for her. But I'll get to that in a minute.
Dr. Drew got some good questions in like "How do you feel about giving custody of your son to your mom?" and "Why do you keep going back to Kieffer?" (to which she responded she felt "responsible" and "like she just needed to be loved" respectively). Yeah, because responsible moms don't take care of their kids, they sign over custody! Bitch, please! And then Drew gave her some advice like stop dating douchebags and give your mom a break in so many words. The good doctor even advised her to tell Kieffer to "fuck off" via the cameras and she pretty much did. Oh Dr. Drew! You have the best advice!
Then Mommy Dearest Barbara came out. Yowza! As messed up as Jenelle is I can kind of see why she is so heartless and self-involved. Barbara was harsh!
I get that Jenelle puts her through a lot of crap and treats her badly but Barbara came off as an uncaring and bossy cow. When Drew asked her to name three things about her daughter that make her a good person, she barely got out two. And when he asked if Jenelle was lovable - Barbara simply said no. Ouch! Why don't you just punch her in the face and spit on her!?! It'd probably hurt less.
Anyways it all went downhill from there and the two of them started their usual bitchfest until Jenelle threatened to walk off. Drew, seeing this madness was going to kill his special, stopped the crazy and calmed everyone down. It ended with Jenelle saying she was moving out as soon as they got home. Pretty dysfunctional shit!
The four came back out and asked each other a few dumb questions about nothing interesting and that was it - it was over - and though I love it, thank God for that.
