The Jersey Shore idiots had their bronzer packed up and were all ready to bounce to Italy but some permit problems are slowing their roll. Oh no!
Filming was supposed to begin this week in Florence but, according to RadarOnline, "permits for shooting at some of the city's most fabled landmarks including the Uffizi gallery and Palazzo Vecchio have been yanked." Apparently, the mayor of Florence revoked the filming permits for the trainwreck show – this is the same mayor who more famously reportedly barred the show from filming anyone drinking alcohol.
It's not worth it! Go back to the damn shore house and let's just get this season going! I don't need to watch Snooks eat ravioli and I certainly don't need to watch her eat it sober!
TMZ claims that RadarOnline's report is “bogus” and that production was delayed because Italian president Giorgio Napolitano is visiting Florence this week which would make security an issue and filming a "nightmare". They say that "Filming on Season 3 will reportedly begin as soon as the president moves on later this week."
So I'm pretty sure they'll be Florence-bound soon enough - phew!
