First Ryan Sheckler was caught doing drugs in some internet pics and now this! The skateboard fan inside me is weeping!
Tony Hawk, arguably one of the most talented and most famous skateboarders of all time has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar and has left his wife, Lhotse Merriam, for his best friend's gal of 20 years!
The skater had been lifelong friends with Matt Goodman and is also his business partner in the action sports movie company 900 Films. Oh, oh - shit's gonna get messy.
It's also interesting to note that Goodman was also a groomsman at all three of Hawk's previous walks down the aisle...damn, boy! Who knew this guy was getting married as much as J. Lo?
Hawk and Goodman's wife were busted by Merriam when she found out that Hawk paid for his best friend's wife to be with him on a trip to San Fran that she herself wasn't invited on.
I'm all for true love and all but this is bad form...Not nice Tony! Not nice at all.
I hope they keep it together because there are kids involved but I'm thinking Tony should get a punch in the face for this one.
UPDATE: Well, don't I feel like a jackass? Turns out that Tony did start seeing his buddy's wife before he got divorced but the wheels were already in motion - it was not as scandalous as first reported. Goodman has also come out and said that he and his wife had split about five months before she started banging Tony...sorry my bad.
