Ian Bernardo, a contestant who has tried out for Idol multiple times, brought a a sexual harassment suit against the crappy hit show that has now been thrown out. (And no, it wasn't an older lawsuit where Paula was being kooky and grabbin' balls she had no business grabbin' or something.)
Essentially, Bernardo claimed that Idol producers told him to "gay it up" when he auditioned. Though I guess it's in poor taste to tell a homosexual man to "gay it up" (I'll cop to saying "Beyonce it up" once or twice though...) aren't we just getting a little too sue happy at this point? I mean I could probably sue you for reading this and win.
Anyways, in dude's defense allegedly they were also dropping other verbal hate bombs. He says words like "fag" and "homo" were used...who said that? Seacrest? I hate that guy!
Sad if he felt harassed but this just totally smacks of an attention getting stunt, non? A judge ended up throwing the case out.
And the world makes sense again...
