Last night, after a gun battle during a "kill mission" in Pakistan, Navy Seals and CIA paramilitary forces killed the most wanted and possibly most hated man in the world, Osama Bin Laden.
"Bin Laden died in a gunbattle with Navy SEALs and CIA paramilitary forces at a compound in the city of Abbottabad," U.S. officials said and NBC News' Savannah Guthrie (quoting an unnamed U.S. official) reported that he was "shot in the left eye".
A DNA analysis established with "100 percent certainty" that the body was bin Laden's. One of bin Laden's wives, who survived the firefight in the compound, also identified him, the official said.
Crazy! A good day for Obama and an even better day for America.
