They just announced the Grammy noms for the upcoming awards show in February and the list isn't exactly a shocker.
Eminem leads the pack with 10 nominations for his genius album, Recovery and should win most of the awards he's up for but he has some stiff competition in Katy Perry and Cee Lo. Bieber fever is still going strong with the young, hair-whipping supastar getting a few nods including the popular Best New Artist category. Stupid, inane Gaga is also up for a handful of the awards for some of her shit on her 8 song EP The Fame Monster. Ha, I thought they only nominated songs from full albums but what I don't know about pop music these days you could pretty much fill the Grand Canyon with.
Also, up for a few awards was Glee. Glee!?! I know they sell albums to their army of Gleeks or whatever they call themselves these days but don't they just sing lame teenybopper covers of songs that used to rule? (BTW - how annoying is it when fans feel the need to make themselves clever names like this? Stupid Twihards!) Shit man, give the award to Journey if you're gonna give a Grammy for Don't Stop Believin'...not to these dorks. Geez, it's like giving the Mini-Pops a Grammy!
