10-year-old Jonathan James was pronounced dead at a local hospital in Texas this week after his parents refused him water for almost 5 days. He was being punished by his father and stepmother for wetting his bed. The boy finally collapsed in his home (as this took place during a heatwave) fainting in front of his brother.
The brother later told police he was too frightened to help Jonathan in fear of being punished himself. His father, Michael Ray James, and stepmother Tina Alberson moved Jonathan's dehydrated body to a cold bath, and told doctors in the hospital he had been trying to cool down after falling ill even though it was obviously from being denied water during a heatwave.
SICK! Lock these assholes up and throw away the key! In fact, throw them in there with that Madoff motherfucker - they can take turns beating the shit out of each other for being such crappy human beings!
The couple face 99 years in jail if convicted of causing serious bodily injury.
