Oh shiz! I'm about this damn close to never leaving my house AGAIN! Shit is straight out of Saw!
Australian heiress, Madeleine Pulver, has just gone through one of the freakiest things I have ever heard of! According to dailymail.co, her father is the CEO of an internet company and her mother owns a "top notch" landscaping company - they are one of the richest families in Sydney.
They speculate that the intruder (a stranger to the fam but obvi aware of their vast wealth) entered the home (pictured above), attached the collar bomb around her 18-year-old neck and left a ransom note for cash. The ransom note has not yet been confirmed. Damn! Mo' money, mo' problems, yo! Straight up!
The popo say it was a bitch to get off/deactivate and took over 10 hours to remove...they are investigating other objects in the mansion to make sure the crazy bastard didn't leave anymore psycho surprises.
How crazy is that!?! That is so scary! I have to admit - I would've liked to see the bomb - but no pics were released of the device. Here's a pic that was on Google from a case in '98 and I imagine it's somewhat the same idea -
The poor girl is now with her parents and is okay - minus being psychologically scarred for life - and police are looking for the culprit.
UPDATED 04/08/2011: It was a fake bomb! Still pretty scary but police are now saying that it was "A very, very elaborate hoax as it turned out." They are still searching for the sickie who is responsible for the freaky stunt.
